I'm excited to present my latest artwork, created during a free mentorship with two members of Miralumo Studio crew: Gustavo Ribeiro and Maronilson Jr.
.
It began with the development of two 3D models based on concepts by Cory Loftis: a ceiling light and a cardboard box.
Since we are all big fans of his artwork, after we've accomplish these two, we've challenged ourselves to create a scene using a concept sheet featuring six designs of the same game. Alternatively, we had the option to showcase only the 3D models themselves.
.
Over the course of nearly two months, we dedicated ourselves to this artwork, guided by our instructors. This experience has significantly enhanced my skills and understanding of the artistic process. The project has no commercial goals, It was planned and executed exclusively for educational and portfolio purposes.
.
This project was made in Blender 4.3.2, with procedural shaders (mostly), practical lightning, render in Cycles, and it consumed around 137 cups of espresso.
.
Many thanks and gratitude to Gus and Maron, for such dedication and willingness to share so much knowledge with us..
I hope you all enjoy viewing this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it!
